Dr. Lorraine Chrisomalis-Valasiadis

Dr. Lorraine Chrisomalis-Valasiadis is one of New York City's most experienced OB/GYNs, with over 30 years of practice specializing in women's health, high-risk obstetrics, and personalized gynecological care. Her clinical focus spans routine preventive care, family planning, prenatal management of complicated pregnancies — including advanced maternal age, gestational diabetes, preterm labor, and multiple gestations — as well as gynecological conditions including hormone imbalance, UTIs, and vaginitis. She is fluent in English, Greek, Spanish, and French. Over her career, Dr. Chrisomalis-Valasiadis served as Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Medical Center for eleven years, where she cared for high-risk pregnant patients and trained the next generation of physicians. She completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. In 2005, she opened her private practice on the Upper East Side, where she remains affiliated with Northwell Health.
