Dr. POOJA NARWAL, MD
Endocrinology · Metabolism
About
Dr. Narwal brings a rare depth of credentials: she is double board-certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism and Internal Medicine, completed her Internal Medicine Residency at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan (2014) and her Fellowship in Endocrinology & Diabetes at UMass Baystate (2017), and is a Menopause Society Practitioner (2023) — a distinction held by only a small number of physicians in the country. Her path to endocrinology began with her MBBS from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi — one of India's most prestigious medical institutions — followed by a Residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at BJ Medical College, Ahmedabad (2009), another of India's top-ranked teaching hospitals. This early training gave her an intimate, foundational understanding of how deeply hormonal health shapes women's lives. Witnessing hormonal disorders across every stage of a woman's lifespan — from adolescence through menopause and beyond — made one thing undeniably clear: the endocrine system is at the center of women's health, yet it remains profoundly underserved. That insight became her mission. Dr. Narwal pursued endocrinology with the specific goal of closing this gap — bringing rigorous hormonal science to women who have too often been dismissed, undertreated, or left to navigate their symptoms alone. With over 20 years in women's health, she has witnessed firsthand the frustration midlife women face when seeking care for hormonal changes. Too often, symptoms are dismissed, or patients are rushed through appointments that leave more questions than answers. Mid-life Endocrinology was founded to change this. Her practice is built on the belief that women deserve medical authority paired with true empathy — rigorous endocrine science with the time required to truly listen and partner in your health journey.
