Ryan White
Physical Therapy
155 East 55th Street, Unit 5A, New York , NY
Ryan White, DPT is the founder of RAW Physio, a concierge physical therapy practice on the East Side of Manhattan. He earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Columbia University, specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation, and his undergraduate degree in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology — with a focus in Exercise Physiology — from the University of Florida, graduating with honors. Ryan believes physical therapy is an art. His practice is anchored in Functional Manual Therapy® — a hands-on, integrated treatment system that couples mechanical treatment of the joints, soft tissues, visceral, and neurovascular systems with manual neuromuscular facilitation to optimize motor control and human function. Every session is conducted one-on-one by Dr. White — no handoffs to aides. He continuously advances his skills through courses with the Institute for Physical Art, Postural Restoration Institute, System One80, RockTape, and KOH. While at Columbia, Ryan developed a deep interest in dance and performance medicine, training under Broadway-renowned physical therapist Cameron Gomez. He served as lead physical therapist for Aladdin on Broadway, and also assisted Mean Girls and Flying Over Sunset — bringing elite-level rehabilitation directly to performing artists at the highest level.
